6-Day Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Masai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
You will be picked up from either Jomo Kenyatta Airport or your city Hotel to begin your journey
towards Amboseli National Park. Once you arrive at the camp, you will have lunch and then set out
on an afternoon game drive to explore the acacia woodland, freshwater swamps, scrub brush, and
open plains to search for wildlife. You will return to the camp during sunset.
Amboseli National Park covers an area of 392 square kilometers and is well-known for offering
breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on earth and
in Africa (5895m). Other animals you might spot here include cheetahs, zebras, giraffes,
wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, and many others.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Day
You have two options for your day at Amboseli Park today. You can leave camp after breakfast,
carrying your packed lunch to enjoy in the wild. Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli's
marshlands and swamps, then Return to the lodge late in the afternoon after a long day of
exploration,
If you choose the second option begin with an early morning game drive to see the animals when
they are most active. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. Spend the hottest part
of the day relaxing in camp, reading, writing in your journal, or observing the local birds. In the late
afternoon, at around 4 pm, head out for another drive through the park.

Day 3: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru via Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we will depart and head west for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
During our journey, we will stop at the spectacular Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you can stretch
your legs and take photographs of the contrasting landscape. We will then proceed to a restaurant
on Lake Naivasha's shores for lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari in the
animal sanctuary. Here, you will encounter animals like giraffes and zebras one-on-one. The
animals here are so wary of humans that you can almost touch them! Then, we will proceed to your
lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in good time at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru To Masai Mara National Reserve
After having breakfast, you will begin your first early-morning game drive. Despite the early start,
morning game drives are always worth it as you can spot animals when they are most active. Lake
Nakuru is home to flamingos, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and the
endangered Rothschild's giraffes. The southern end of the lake is the best place to see wildlife. The
forested area below the Rhinos Cliff is a favorite lion-spotting point where lionesses love to sleep in
the trees.
After the game drive you will have lunch then exit the park and drive through the Rift Valley floor to
Masai Mara. On arrival after checking In, you will be picked up by the Masai warriors who will guide
you through a walking safari in the nearby Zebra Plains Conservancy as you head later for a cultural
tour to some of the old tribes that have co-existed with the Masai mara wildlife for many years.

Day 5: Game drive in Masai Mara Full Day
You will spend a full day exploring the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous
Savanna on a game-viewing tour. The Mara is well-known for its vast herds of plains game animals,
such as leopards, cheetahs, lions, and other herbivores. It is home to virtually every other type of
wildlife found in Kenya. You will have a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah
while watching the animals grazing. After that, you will continue with the game-viewing en route to
your camp, arriving late in the afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah
that measures 1,500 sq.
You can also book a balloon ride early in the morning, which is an optional activity. After landing,
the crew will assist you out of the basket and escort you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast,
which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth the price. Later, you can join your driver guide at
a location and proceed with your full-day game drive.

Day 6: Masai Mara – Nairobi
After a leisurely morning breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, pack up, and drive back to
Nairobi. On the way, you can choose to visit a Maasai Village for a cultural experience, where you'll
learn more about the community that has co-existed with the Mara wildlife for centuries.
You'll have lunch at one of the hotels in Narok town. Afterward, the journey will continue to Nairobi,
arriving in the mid-afternoon. You'll be dropped off at your respective hotel or at the airport, marking
the end of your safari.
Depending on your homebound flight departure time, you will organize with your driver guide the
departure time from Masai Mara.
